WAG's v Altrincham Girl's

1 - 5

Friendly Game

Respect first to Altrincham Girl's and Chris their Manager for a great attitude to the game today, Altrincham are a very good team and play some nice football. I feel they should be higher in the league than they are, We wish them the very best for the rest of the season.

I thought we played brill for our first for our first 11 v 11 game on a very large pitch, its easy for the parents to be shouting instructions but there was not a one that would have been able to run from one end of the pitch to the other !. a great attitude to a tough game, Well done girls and keep it up, the win is just round the corner.

See ya all on Monday.

Player of the Match

P O M: Ellie B

Altrincham Girl's P O M : Kate T

Stuart Says: Well done today girls, some great performances, the top three players for me were Ellie b , Kate t , and Megan f , but you all put a good amount of effort in . For your first 11 v 11 I was really impressed with the way you approached the game , you shown alot of belief in each other and started very well , Altrincham are a very good team and play some nice football so to go in at halftime 3-1 down isn't bad . At half time you all shown alot of spirit as you believed in yourselves to go out and work harder as a team , we changed a couple of positions so each player could get enough time on the pitch, and you created more chances than normal and put pressure on the other team in parts , so I was very happy with you all today , it's coming together and I think our results will change soon with the way you all really want this team to win . Heads up girls all the parents were impressed again as they remember it was only a few months back when some couldn't kick a ball and how much you've improved .

Come on the ammies.......

Referee: His professional approach to the game checking earrings, shin pads etc is always nice to see, He gives a fair performance and always explains himself and the decisions he makes.

Parents: Thank You for supporting the girls, which is making a big difference to the girl's.

Big thank you to Bert, Paul & Sarah, everything you is a big help and is appreciated.

Stockport County Blues v WAG's

5 - 0

League Game

Respect to the team we played today, Stockport Blues can play football, they played with a great attitude and everyone came off with a smile, We look forward to our next meeting and different score - god they was lucky ! LOL.

Girl's I could not have done what you did today, it was cold and you never gave up running, you all put it in today, It 's hard to pick a Player Of the Match when you all play like that. I think Kate T put in a great performance in the first half in goal, for someone who as never played in net before to put a performance like that is unbelievable you had to be there to see it. Maybe we have a goalie in the making ?. Well done to Fabz on her debut game and she never gave up, a star player in the making.

Well done girls and keep it up, the win is just round the corner.

See ya all on Monday.

Player of the Match

P O M: Sophie

Stockport Blue' s P O M : Sophie

Stuart Says: A bad result but such a massive amount of effort from you all who played today , We are nowhere near the standard of county blues for ability but your team spirit and hard work was great to watch today , a couple of you showed that you can perform just aswell if not better in different positions . Fabz made her debut and didn't she do well , a little nervous at the start but getting stuck in straight away ( well done fabz , a big part of the team now ) . The improvement was there again it's coming together , I know I keep saying it but that first win isn't far away . Keep working hard at it , as hard work brings rewards . Well done keep your heads up
Dancing Girl

Referee: I scored her a seven on the match card because this girl was professional in her approach to the game checking earrings, shin pads etc but was a bit slow on the field and at one point was yawning and looked like she was not interested.

Parents: Thank You for supporting the girls, Our parent base was low this week because of certain players being missing but up to today this was improving each week which was making a big difference to the girl's.

Big thank you to Bert, Paul & Sarah, Claire everything you is a big help and appreciated.

WAG's v Leigh Genesis Girl's

0 - 5

League Game

Respect to Leigh Genesis they played with a great attitude and everyone came off with a happy game, When we first met a couple of seasons back they were an average team, but now they are one of the best, which is properly what was said about us today. We wish them the best for the rest of the season.

Today we started off brilliant, to hold one of the top teams to 3 - 0 at half time was out-standing, we looked great and things were coming together, I thought it was going to be 3 - 2 or even 3 - 3. second half we went to pieces and let a couple more in and only had 3 or 4 chances our selves, but we should not put our selves down it was a great performance. We are getting there and everyone is saying this. There was a Parent there today who had not been for a while and they said it was a big difference from the previous games they had watched. I think we had too many subs and when changing the team to make sure that they get a game, we alter the set up and it starts to fall apart. So we have decided that Players who don't turn up to training on a Wednesday night and don't contact myself or Stuart with the reason for them missing the session will not play on the Saturday, we mentioned this to all parents who were in full agreement.

See ya all on Monday.

Player of the Match

P O M: Trisha

Leigh Genesis P O M : Devan

Stuart Says: For the first 20 mins today , the team looked great and really gave Leigh a good game and probably matched them toe to toe , for it to be 0-3 at halftime and two of them goals to be through silly mistakes and one which no team would have stopped , showed the improvement . For some reason  we started the 2nd half the way you all played 4-5 months ago , with no belief and looking scared of the ball and lost 4 goals very quickly, I really thought at half time we had a big chance to get back in the game . As usual you all kept goin to the final whistle and were all trying very hard , and we created alot of chances , I feel like I say it everyweek but you do improve every week , but today's first 20 min performance was the best I've seen you play , well done your hard work is showing , and didn't Ian and myself look good in our new coat and pants

Referee: we gave an eight on the match card, Alan the referee we now know for few years and he is a pretty fair ref, he explains him self on his decisions and you cant ask for more really. Those ref's that stand around and don't do anything or explain them selves are a joke, but in this case a good all round referee !

Parents: Our parent base was back to a high this week because of certain players were not missing, I thank you for this and it does make a difference to the players (all players) it is improving each week and please let it grow, The usual big thank you to Bert, Paul & Sarah, Claire everything you in the general running of the girls team is a big help and much appreciated by myself and Stuart.

WAG's v Urmston Meadowside Girl's

1 - 8

League Game

Respect to the team we played today, Urmston Med's they played some great passing football and played a good game and with the great attitude everyone came off with a smile, We look forward to our next meeting and different score ! LOL.

We played great for 3 quarters of the match and the last 15 min's we switched off and that changed the score dramatically to the end result, the score was 1 - 4 up to this point and then we stopped, which was a shame really. We will work on this and and make it better over the next couple of weeks. We need to work hard for the team like you did for the first part of the game and the results will become ours, you really worked hard today and then had a rest !. hahhahahhahhahaha LOL

See ya all on Monday.

Player of the Match

P O M: Devon

U-Med's: Leoni

Stuart Says: What a great start to the game today girls , you all worked very hard and shown some real grit at times . Urmston meds are a very good passing team , and were always attacking throughout the match , but to keep it 0-0 for 23 min's was a great achievement , as we normally give away silly goals early on in matches . The last ten min's it looked like we gave up , and the other team were passing and shooting very easily , as we never tackled or closed them down quick enough ( only in the last ten min's). We may not be a great passing team at the moment girls , but the improvement is there and your hard work and will to learn and try hard for each other is fantastic , I was really proud of how hard you worked today . It will all come together soon if you keep these levels up. Well done , and unlucky , keep your heads up  . Let's not forget the fantastic goal scored by the p o m , well done dev's

Referee: We had a young referee today, I scored him an eight on the match card because in general he did OK and is learning himself and he did keep up with play etc............

Parents: Thank You for supporting the girls, Our parent base is improving each week which is making a big difference to the girl's and Bert, Dave, Claire everything you is a big help and appreciated.

We Thank You.

WAG's v Hough End Griffin's

3 - 5

League Game

Respect to the team we played today, Hough End Griffins, who with the help of Mark from Oswald Girls have amalgamated a good and improving team, its great to see like us a team getting better and better, watch next year league teams, we are the ones up near the top.

I think we played great today, to be three all at half time and then 3 - 5 three quarters the way through is brill, I do think we could have won it, yes I really do, we started the second half bad and gave it to them. 3 or 4 of you kind of switched off and started walking, we tackled and when we lost the ball we just stopped. I do feel for the likes of Leoni and Denika who did everything and had to work twice as hard because of the walkers. My Trisha i think put in a better performance than of late, Devon should have got her hat trick. Sienna what a right foot !. Well Done to them who put it in today and for them that did not there is next week.

See ya all on Monday

7 till 8 @ Benchill Community Ctr, don't be late !

P O M: Katie F

(If Carlsberg made a Wasp, you would properly be the best !)

Hough End: Denika

Stuart Says: Good performance today girls , it's getting there , some need to remember  it's a team game and you have to work hard for their team mates , and not stand/walk and watch mates struggle. The P O M could have gone to 4 for me today , a certain defender, midfielder , and the two forwards , Katie(the wasp) just nicked from the other three ( everyone knows who the others are ) it's these four ( and leoni)performing consistently to a good level each week now. I think most of you need the same spirit as your fans as no other team have support and encouragement that you have , they are fantastic . Keep your heads up the improvement was there , well done

Referee: I scored him an eight on the match card because this guy was professional, he took time out to explain everything to you before the game, he checked your shin pads and made sure no earrings, bracelet etc. He pulled you on the foul throws. That is nice to see that when he makes a decision he explains himself.

Referee

Good Job Mark.

Parents: Thank You for supporting the girls, our parent base is the best !, you are outstanding in the support you show the girl's it is and will make a big difference to the girl's. Bert, Dave, Claire everything you do is a big help and much appreciated.

A big "THANK YOU" to Sarah & Paul, The Coffee and Barms are a life saver on cold and windy days, Myself and Stuart would like to say a special thank you to both of you, its great to see all the parents doing their bit !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Urmston Meadowside Girl's v WAG's

League Game

The usual respect to the team we played today, Urmston Meds they do play and pass the ball around and are very well organised in defence, their attitude to the game today was spot on so credit to them.

Girl's, I love my Saturday afternoon's and lately they have got brilliant, think we were a bit unlucky today and should have had at least three goals. Molly was not 100% and had to come off and Sophie had a blister which was clearly slowing her down in the second half. We look forward to our next game and with our hidden player who was missing today I think the score line will be a bit different. Keep up the hard work girl's and we will get there, we have had major improvements in the team and I don't think the big win is far away. See you all Wednesday because we have Halloween on Monday and I know there is a few of you working that night !!! hahahahaha

Clip

Player of the Match

P O M: Leoni

U-Meds: Sienna

Stuart Says: Great first half performance girls , and a reasonable second girls , the improvement is there but I know we can play alot better , the last couple of weeks you set yourself a standard and we need to hit that every week to improve together . Urmston Med's do play and pass the ball around very nice , and put some very good attacking moves together , and very well organised in defence so credit to them . Once we sort a couple of positions out mainly midfield the team will see bigger rewards , but for a team which 50% have only been playing the beautiful game for a couple of months you are great to watch and support . Thanks to all the supporters for their encouragement towards the girls you play a big part in this fantastic team of girls

Referee: We had a young referee today, he got one or two off sides wrong, and was a bit slow on keeping up with play. I scored him an eight on the match card because in general he did OK and is learning himself and we all have to be fare.

Parents: Thank You for supporting the girls, not only "your one" but the others aswel,. Our parent base is improving each week and we are becoming a great team, this is a joint effort of the club and you are making the difference to the girl's and it all help's with their confidence.

Myself & Stuart Thank You.

Hazel Grove Girl's v WAG's

9 - 1

League Game

The usual respect to the team we played today, their usual attitude to the game today was spot on. Mark & Myself have a bit fun with the screaming for the goals, unfortunately he did a bit more screaming them me but it is always a pleasure to play Hazel Grove and Mark is fun. Wish them the best for the rest of the season and "see ya soon pal" PS: thank you for the change of time, it saved me a lot of problems work wise.

Girl's another complete Saturday, we all came off with smiles. I am looking forward to the games in the next couple of weeks. We have worked very hard and we are getting there, because of the performances in the last few weeks i thought you would have done better today and the score should have been more equal, but hey we still played good and we need to look at a bit higher performance, one or two still giving up and walking. We all need to play hard for our positions on the team.

Armed Forces

Player of the Match

P O M: Katie F

Hazel Grove : Devon

Stuart Says: Ok girls , I thought today was a little different to the level of performance that we have seen over the last couple of matches , if we had this result 4/5 weeks ago we would have been all smiles . But today we started very slowly and gave 2 very quick early goals away ( none of which were the keepers fault ) all because we weren't concentrating and never even tried to tackle or mark their players . Then once we had switched on we stopped most of their play and created some chances for ourselves , one of which was taken of class and finished in style ( well done Sie ) . Then in the second half we started slow again and gave away easy goals . I know and have seen the level you should be playing at and are capable of girls . You all just need to want that win or draw a little bit more and believe in yourself , it will come if you work hard for it . Keep your heads up . We need to work on a couple of positions too , but you all did keep going to the last whistle . Well done as we set a target for the amount of goals conceded and the other team never got past it . Let's all work harder this week and keep smiling we need to get Ian excited and screaming from the side again .

Referee: We had a young referee today, he got one or two off sides wrong, I scored him an eight on the match card because in general he did OK and is learning himself.

Parents: Thank You for supporting the girls, our parent base is improving each week, We do need to organise the sandwich & coffee bit, Sarah & Paul are doing a great job and it is very much appreciated we are in need to sort the kitty out for coffee and etc.......

Myself & Stuart Thank You.

Hazel Grove Girls v WAG's

Challenge Cup Game

First can we say what a pleasure it was today to play the top of the league last year, they are an outstanding team Mark is a very good coach and wants the best from his team. Hazel Grove Girl's are good and today they shown how to have fun while they play, Me and Mark had a bit of fun shouting across "YEAH!". Well Done Hazel Grove.

Well done to our girl's aswel, you played a great game today and no one gave up, this new attitude could shock a few teams in this league so please keep it up. It was nice to see that no one gave up, you all kept running and I was proud of you. We had so many chances on goal, one or two of us are still a bit scared of the ball but in general it was a great performance and long may it continue.

Player of the Match

P O M: Sophie & Molly

Stuart Says: Well done today girls best performance you have ever put in , I class hazel grove as one of the best teams in the league. We still lack some concentration at times , but the improvement is there for everyone to see. Sophie a fantastic hat trick and Molly's improvement and 100% effort. See you all Monday and Wednesday. I gave you all a target for the second half and your will to get to that target shown a lot today , thanks girls.

Referee: We had a young man today for referee, it was a average performance, he missed one or two things, but no main reason to complain. Could have run a bit more but feel we would have him again.

Parents: Thank You for supporting the girls, not only "your one" but the others aswel, it does make a difference to the girl's and help's with their confidence.

Altrincham Puma's v WAG's

13 - 4

League Game

First like always we need to show respect to Altrincham Girl's this team is one of a few of teams in this league that show how the game should be played not only their ability but their conduct and the respect they show us. The club is an outstanding club. Well Done to Chris and his team.

Well done to our girl's today, when we play like we did today with a nice clean game and everyone comes off with a smile its make mine and Stuart's afternoon. Every player turned up today which meant we had four as subs. The all round effort today and at training is brill, lets keep it up. I was that happy today it went out on the club twitter page for all to see.

Player of the Match

P O M: Ellie May (outstanding change)

(Altrincham POM: Denika)

Stuart Says:   Another fantastic amount of effort girls. The team spirit at the moment is great I'm really enjoying watching you try so hard , not one of you under performed today . Once we stop the other teams chances on goal we will get the results your efforts deserve. You should all be proud of the amount of improvement you have all made in such a small amount of time. it's shows how much you love it when 11 trained in the cold and rain , and look at your fans ( the parents ) I think they love it just as much , Keep it up see you all Monday.

Referee: We had Alan Horridge today for referee,

Referee

We gave him a nine on the match card, I think he did a pretty good job today and I think we got away with a handball !!.

Parents: Thank you once again for coming down and supporting the girls, it does make a difference to them and us. a special thank you to Sarah & Paul with the coffee and sausage sandwiches a very nice touch, little bit of brown sauce next week please

WAG's v Stockport Blues

0 - 7

League Cup Game

First, Respect to Stockport Blues Girls for playing at a superb and fantastic level and with an attitude that shows why they should be at the top of this league. Damon and Jennine are a pleasure to deal with and makes my Saturday a nice day. We wish you well for the rest of the season and see ya very soon.

Well girl's, I am a happy Manager today because of what you done on the pitch, to be 3 - 0 down at half time against a team of Stockports class is great news and shows each week we are better and better, defence today was really good and when we start working on moving forward we have Chloe, you was outstanding today, the effort you put in was great and the POM was well deserved. We will have the complete team soon and all with a smile and fun in it .

See you on Wednesday at training

POM: Chloe

Stockpor POM: Olivia

Referee: We had Shannon Maloney today for referee and not many get a ten from me, to be honest I think only one in all the years I have been involved in this league got a ten. Shannon did a brill job today, kept up with play, spoke to us about people near the net etc, explained in brief detail to the girls why she made the decision she did. Great Shannon keep up this great approach, you got the top mark of a nine, you may even get the ten next time !#

Stuart says: Well done today girls you all stepped up a gear and made it very hard for Stockport blues . This time the effort was there for all to see . 3-0 at halftime is a fantastic achievement . In the second half we did let them in a little too easy + we did score a couple for them .I think the concentration left us for about 10 min's .
But that's the most effort and determination you have shown all season like I said last week your all improving quicker and your team spirit is amazing . A parent said to me today that your the nicest bunch of girls they have seen and their not wrong . You could have all been given player of the day but chloe deserved it (she smiled the most) I think she enjoys it more than me .
See you all Wednesday
   .............lets go girls.............

Parents: Thank You for helping out with nets, cones etc, without your support and help we would be at a loss.

WAG's v Hough End Griffins

A Friendly

We have had a few changes over the last couple of months and this as brought with it our big improvement over this time I now feel like writing a report each week this will happen over the rest of the season.

First we need to show respect to Hough End Griffins and their performance of fair play and great respect; Sandra is pleasure to deal with as always. Since their merging of Oswald Road Girls and Hough End teams they too have great improvement and potential.

Today was a very cold and wet day and it took us a long time to get warmed up and get going. we shown our true form in the second half and this is where the goals were stopped and our many chances happened, our Parent support has grown and this is great to see and brought with it shouts of encouragement but unfortunately confusing instructions, this is bound to happen and you should only be listening to Stuart or myself (Ian). We are growing and getting better & better. I can see a great team here and it will not be long before we see the score line telling this great and different story.

Stuart Says: Well played in the 2nd half today girls, conditions were bad for both teams but you all kept going and trying hard. We need to all start to get there early and warm up as it's always the 2nd half when you all start to perform to the best of your ability. But credit to you all, the belief and will to work hard for each other is starting to sink in now, The addition of Sophie, Sienna and Devon to the team has changed all your attitudes towards the team

Well done again and thanks for all the hard work in the 2nd half

Player of the Match

POM: Denika

Remember: fail to prepare, prepare to fail.

Parents: When Parents turn up to watch and encouragement to their girl this will always make that girl do her best. This all adds to a great game. I thank you for turning out in the cold & rain to support.

WAG's v Stockport Blues

0 - 5

Challenge Cup Game

We need to pay respect & congratulate Stockport County's Team and of course their Management, Jennine is outstanding in her role and this team & parents must think themselves very lucky to have her doing "The Pen Pushing", Yuq (Damon?) is a very pleasant guy and very good with his approach to coaching and wants the best from his girls, which they seem to deliver to a professional level, there No6 outstanding and reads the game very well, we gave her the POM.

Well Done Stockport, see you next week !

Today, we really was not on a good day, some of you mentioned it when you came off the pitch (only smiling a bit) that you had not played to your best, Megan did not start till the second half, Denika was watching the other player at times and standing still, Cery's like Megan did not start till the second half , Trisha needs to get an early night, she woke up at 10 min's to go in the second half. Leoni was the player who did what she does week in and week out, play to her best and save you from a score line that would be bigger if it was not for her, Melissa played good but was missing her "stuck in bit" that she is known to have. Olivia normally runs and runs, but there was a bit of watching today. Chloe was watching what was going on, you need to keep your head up and play hard. Katie, I have to say you did pretty well, over the last couple of weeks you seem to be changing into a good "Little" player, and today you did OK, you have done better though. I think we all need an early night on a Friday and there is a big improvement in your play.

POM: Leoni

Stockport POM: Leoni

I am very proud of our girl's teams in this club, the late U16 / 17's, now moving to our ladies team and our early charity team which raised some very needed funds for the specialist schools in our area. Some of those players moving to this U12's team this season.

Referee: The ref was OK today, felt that she should have kept up with play a bit more, yawning while on the field could give the wrong impression, but her decisions were made correctly, I will do a little report for her and send it to the league.

Stu, what you recon ?

Stuart says: Something was missing today girls and it was the effort, Stock port are a very good team but we made it too easy for them today. Leoni and Megan both played well . I know how well you can all play, when it's training you all put maximum effort and fun in to it, I hope today was a one off as I really enjoy watching you improve week in week out, and it shows how much a nice bunch of girls you all are with 8 girls wanting to come and join . Something else was missing (SMILES) let's see happy faces next week........... COME ON............

Parents: Thank You for helping out with nets, cones etc. it does not go unnoticed and is much appreciated by Me & Stuart, Thank You to Stockport parents & the like, I welcome your comments and they will passed to the girls on a Wednesday night at training.

Altrincham Puma's v WAG's

5 - 1

League Cup Game

First can we say what a pleasure it was today to play the top of the league, they are an outstanding team and with some of the best players in this league, They hit the post and cross bar today so many times (lucky for us), Chris from Alty is a very good coach and wants the best from his team, I have to say we won't be challenging you for top position but wish you all the best for the rest of the season and wish you all the best for top slot.

Well Done Chris & The Girl's.

We were on a good day today and i am happy to be part of a fun team, We were awesome in the first half and we scored a goal against the top of the league, i was well happy at half time, we were at 4 - 1 down at half time and that is great news, we are getting better each week. If you was to play like you play at training, we might of even won, OK not won but it would have been closer. We have 3 new girl's starting soon and because of this we need to start showing complete commitment to the team, them that don't show to training without explanation will I am afraid not play on the Saturday, its only fair that them with full team spirit will play the game, I hope you understand.Cery's in net today was outstanding seeing that this is not your normal position but Leoni's who wanted to play out today and was great, so much so she got Player of the Match from Altrincham Girl's for her performance. Megan was Player of the Match (POM) today for us and well deserved we thought, although it was a tight call for 2nd place for Denika. We had great play from my own Trisha, I notice a big change in your attitude towards the game and you we seem to love it, I love you xx. Melissa the none stopper, the energy you have is amazing and it shone again today, you are going to be top of your play in the next couple of years. Katie even though sometimes a bit cheeky with me is getting better and better each week, if she put the energy in her feet than her mouth she could run all week LOL :-). Courtney could be the best player on this team if she was 100% in her output, some great moves and the goal but then in the second half was just walking. We need to keep up the great approach in the game and training. Chloe, you are so keen to play and so funny with it, Keep up the hard work. I look forward to seeing you all at training on Wednesday and bring the smiles with you please.

I love this team !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

POM: Megan

Altrincham POM: Leoni

Referee: The ref was good today and Chris & myself scored her a nine, her decisions were made correctly and she kept up with play. I will do my little report for her and send it to the league.

Stuart says: Well done today girls , you played one of the best teams in the league and you made it very hard for them in the first half . You all played very well , but three players stood out today leoni,Megan and denika they kept on going until the whistle gets blown. Altrincham have some fantastic players and play the game the way it should be played ,we did ride our luck a little as they hit crossbar and post and were inches wide a few times.
In the second half you all started very well and kept the score down and then 10 min's to the end some of you gave up and stopped trying , it's not fair on the players who want to achieve something, let's all try and keep the effort up from start to finish and we have a chance of hitting our target earlier than I thought as your improvement is happening quicker than I imagined . Keep it up girls as I really enjoy watching you improve and I know you can do better as we all see how good you are at training
---------- come on ---------

Parents: Thank You for helping out with nets, cones etc, without your support and help we would be at a loss.

Our first game of 2011 and I think we were a bit rusty but we started to pick it up in the second, well Megan did she tried to hold the ball :-)

Leoni was outstanding in net and I agree with what Stuart says below, you properly are, although Stockports goalie today did two great saves outstanding. Keep up the hard work and we will get there soon. I look forward to meeting some new girls on Wednesday and moving forward with this team and having fun, which is what it is all about, So keep the fun and lets have some goals !

See you all on Wednesday 7pm sharp

POM: Leoni

Stockport POM: Leoni

Great professional attitude from Stockport County and a pleasure to play, look forward to our next game.

Referee: the ref was good today, felt sorry for him because he looked cold, we scored him an eight and like I always do, I will do a little report for him and send it to the league.

Stuart says: In the first half you all looked at little out of practice . But in the second half girls you all tried harder and worked harder for each other . Keep up the hard work and soon the goals will come ....... Hopefully
Well done for the second half performance - and leoni was fantastic again she's got to be the best keeper in the league

See you all at training

Parents: Thank You for helping out with nets etc, it does not go unnoticed. Much appreciated. Ian x

I love you all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Leigh Genesis v WAG's

5 - 0

League Game

Respect should be shown to Rob and the Leigh Genesis Team for a great game of football played in the correct attitude with an outstanding No 11 player. Well done Leigh Genesis and "Thank You" to Rob for his professional and still wants to have a laugh attitude.

Once again Leoni in net with another outstanding performance, Trisha, Denika, Chloe, Olivia, Courtney, Melissa never stopping and working hard and with some great play. I am waiting on Stuart to send over what he thought about today, but I have to say you played like a team in the second half, bit rusty in the first but once we did the second half time talk we started to play brilliant. We only let in 3 goals in the second half, which is why I am proud to be part of this team, the Coach is a top man, the two regular parents who help out are great. Two players who I have not mentioned above were just brill today, they are sisters, Today one who normally knows every answer in the book and would rather talk than play, played her best game ever, Megan you should feel so proud of the way you helped your team to the top level of play today, you were just outstanding. Which now proves you can do it when you try. Second one (the little one, Katie) well, today she did everything we asked, so bright, sharp and really with it and when its rainy and cold and most are thinking of a hot bath this little one was so great we awarded the POM to you and it was well deserved Katie, your just top !.

POM: Katie

Leigh Genesis POM: Leoni

Referee: Rob and myself had one or two problems this week with referee allocations (1st for me in ten years) and after we found ourselves with out one, (which I now understand Rob's comments, look at previous match report) I contacted one of our u18's girls who is a qualified referee and looking for experience to referee any game, I feel Leah (Ref) did a brill job and I am sure Rob felt the same, Leah, me and Rob thought you did a great job but maybe a bit more whistle use, this is no way a complaint but more of a mention for the future, I am proud you have been part of Wythenshawe Amateurs FC for the last seven years.

Stuart says: Well done to you all today a big improvement from last week . I could see you were all really trying hard from the start, but once we let one goal in we stop and let the other team walk around us. There is only 2 bad points from today's match 1 not closing the player down quickly and 2 stop concentrating and forgetting were playing a match as we just stand and watch, But there is far many good points. We attacked more, passed more, played some nice football, had some shots, got 2 corners, tried harder and looked more like a team as none of you moaned at each other. It is coming together girls, see what happens when we all turn up on time and warm up properly + it does help if we all turn up to training. Remember we are 2 years behind everyone else, keep sticking together and the results will change. Your a great bunch of girls and always put a smile on my face.

Parents: Thank You for helping out with nets, cones etc. it does not go unnoticed and is much appreciated by Me & Stuart

See Ya Next Week

WAG's v Hough End

1 - 2

Friendly Game

Girl's you play better and better each week and are now getting it together, Cerys goal today was outstanding and well deserved, Dad was watching and made it even better. I am so happy with your approach and the effort you put in, the second half we are always better and Cerys goal proved it today. Respect always should be shown in any game and Hough End shown it today to and you to them, having a good positive attitude and a smile to the game is what its all about, 3 cheers at the end is always a good way to show respect and you even put effort in to that today. Hough End are a great team and their Manager/Coach "Sandra" as a great approach to the game and made my Saturday a nice day !

Dancing Girl

Stuart says: What a fantastic match today girls from both teams . The amount of effort was 100% again , team work 100% again and fun was again 100% . We could have scored a couple today , but the superb goal from Cerys was as good as any I've seen in all the games we've had ( well done cezza ) you all deserved player of the match today .

The last time you played Hough End they won 5 - 1 and they had six players, see how much you have improved !

Keep up the hard work your a pleasure to be around .

"Come on the Ammies, I feel like we won"

Parents: I know i don't have to say it but like this team and any team in this league without you helping, supporting, turning up in the cold and rain this team would be really hard work without you !

So may i say.............

"I Thank You"

WAG's v Hillgate Blues

1 - 5

League Game

Today was a very cold day, we lost and we only had the seven players and we still came off with a smile !. I am very proud to be part of this team, we need to concentrate on the one hour rule and once we have that under control we will start to play at the great standard you know you can play. Leoni was outstanding in net today, to be truthful Hillgate said you was outstanding in net and i said that's how she always plays, its become the norm for us, but Hillgate brought it back to me today it was outstanding, you have the makings of the best goalie's in this age group in this league. There will be some teams that say they have a good goalie and they might be right but they don't have a Leoni.

Megan, you got it together as did Trisha in the second half and Chloe & Denika smiled and played all the way through, Courtney started to walk in the second half but what a goal you scored, brilliant, Katie not 100% but you run and run and made yourself sick, that pot noodle at the end seemed to sort it out !

Thank You to Hillgate for showing what a professional team and coaching staff they have in their play and attitude to the game and for swapping things around second half and making sure that "FUN" should win the game !

(Bev, you was quiet, what's wrong ?)

Bouncing Ball

Stuart says: I can only comment on the first half performance this week girls as with Katie not feeling too well I had to sit in my warm car with the heater on full. ( I did try to watch but all I could see was the Ian and the others looking cold) anyway first half we started fantastic we had players missing but you couldn't tell as after some hard work and a nice passing move courtney the powerade scored a brill goal from well outside the box . Then you all stopped trying and left poor leoni in net having to save shot after shot - but when the game finished all the parents told me you worked very hard - so I am again as always very proud of you all
Well done       Come on the ammies !

Parents: Everyone that comes to support our team and other teams, we need your help, there seems to be no end to "Dog Muck" on our centre pitches, now you can come to the club meetings, you can go to the league meetings and complain, the league will do what they can in every complaint you make, but when the league write its one voice !

Can we make it one hundred voices please>>>>>>>.

Click and complain

button

This team and others without you helping, supporting, turning up in the cold and rain it would be hard work.

Can I say for your help with nets, goals etc..........!

I Thank You

Urmston Meadowside v WAG's

5 - 0

Girls, what a professional performance you made today, you had it all stacked against you today, the faith you gave the referee for him to protect you, I am not here to put a referee down and he like you is still learning. You are an under 12's team and should look at this as experience and not find fault. We will experience games like this, and in many cases we will get accused of being losers, if a team complain about a ref, opposition etc, "its because you lost" well, we haven't won a game and not complained about anything so that statement is out the window !. Jeff their Manager seems a genuine guy, and obviously enjoys girls football, he came over after the game and we had a little chat, he had picked up on the result for their Player of the Match in their goalie, "She did not touch the ball", I explained that it was the view of you "The Team" and not our's, Stu or Me, these games are fun and nothing else. You are a young team and we will correct our mistakes over time but like this situation today, tell Me or Stuart your thoughts and we will see what we can do. All I want from you is your best, and if on the day it is not good enough well that's the way it is and we will try again on the next Saturday.

On our own performance's today, Leoni in net again was outstanding, My own Daughter "Trisha", not scared of the ball anymore and wants to get stuck in, Olivia's running, just none stop. each and everyone one of you put it in today and you deserve a pat on the back !, "Thank You for making my Saturday a nice and enjoyable day, My Daughter "Trisha" got the player of the Match today and Katie got Urmston's POM.

Well Done to you both and the team !

Stuart Says: Girls I was very proud of you all today. The first half was probably the best start to a match that you have produced . It is a shame though how a couple of bad calls from a ref

Ref Logo

changed your outlook on the game, Ian will be sending an email regarding certain comments made from the other team. He is the perfect person to and will always protect you . Let's remember we don't care about results only care about effort and fun so pick yourself up dust yourself down, head up and smile as you are the best bunch of girls EVER.!

Parents: Thank You for helping out with nets etc, it does not go unnoticed. Also, each week you turn out and support, on hot & cold days, some with pressing timetables on your personal things to be done etc, I know it makes a difference to all the girls in general and for your own daughter especially, I personally Thank You for your time and effort, It is much appreciated by the club & Me.........................

Remember.......... "I Love You All" xxxxxxxx

WAG's v Altrincham Puma's

0 - 5

The league did the one minutes silence for our hero's of past and present and it was done in the full field of woodsend. Just outstanding and total respect rightly deserved !

Another great team we met today in Altrincham Puma's they had the fun factor about them today which made us enjoy it (we switched off 5 min's before the end), Chris their Manager as a great approach to the game and his team. Altrincham 12's had total respect for a young team that you are and we enjoyed a good game of football

The referee was very good and kept up with play, he shook hands with the players has we do before every game and something I hope this league will make compulsory soon. Nice to see a referee with respect to the girls and wants things right, we did have a hand ball decision against us but in no way is there room for complaint he did a good job and we wish him well. An example of what referee's should be about.

Referee Logo

Girl's we pick ourselves up and dust us down again, this year will be a tough one but next year these teams better watch out because not only will we be good and beat some of these teams (maybe not Alty) big time but we will do it having fun and that's what it is all about.

POM: Denika

Altrincham POM: Leoni

Well done to you both

I Love You All xxxxxxxxxxx

Stuart Says: Well done again today girls . We made more improvement ,we looked allot better attacking today , keep up the hard work and remember were using this season as training only. next year you should all be nearly as good as Ian

( Ian: No Way, i am the best there is ! )

Parents: Thank You for helping out with nets, cones etc. it does not go unnoticed and is much appreciated by me & Stuart

Wag's v Leigh Genesis

Score: 2 - 5

Rob their manager seems nice, i did think he was a bit unfair on the referee being late(he mark her a 6 on the match card) he was told that she was going to be late before the game, i had OK' d it with her before the Saturday.

Maybe its a bit of a niggle with Rob from past experience's. We started good and played well, this is your 5th game and i don't think Stuart or I could ask anymore of you.

Stuart Says: Well Done today girl's, you played Great !

Parents: Thank You for helping out with nets etc, it does not go unnoticed. Much appreciated. Ian x

Wag's v Hazel Grove

Score: 0 - 5

I seen that you really enjoyed today, Cery's loved it in net in the second half, I was having fun cheering for you !

As Stuart would say "Happy Days" I really hope we have many more, you are a great bunch of girl's and I am looking forward to next week. Have fun girl's that's what it's all about. We had two visitors today, Pete and Barry from the league, Ian Barry the Chairman came over at the end and thanked you for making his day as did Pete the league secretary "you know how to have fun"

Thank you for making mine and Stuart's day

Stuart Says: Girls you are getting better every match you play together . Remember this is only our 6th match together and we are all still learning . The match today we chased the ball a little too much which left 3/4 players in our area unmarked lot of the time. But as for how hard you tried and worked for each other not one person could ask for anything more .

Once again you are all pleasure to work with I'm lucky to be part of your team. Keep up all your hard work and  smiling and having fun and we will go far............

COME ON THE AMMIES ....!

Parents: Thank You for helping out with nets etc, it does not go unnoticed. Much appreciated. Ian x

This is what we are about and Stockport, it should be fun !

Hazel Grove v WAG's

Score: 5 - 0

We had received a few little remarks about Hazel Grove which on the day was unfounded really, Mark their Manager seems a nice bloke. Their Parents line is a bit load but you do have to say that they are supporting their own child in someway (parent, grandparent, friend etc). We have converted one team, Mark as now incorporated the respect hand shake at the beginning of the game, which is something i have done for several years and would hope the league will make compulsory one day.

Stuart Says: Well Done today girl's, you played outstanding !

Parents: Thank You for helping out with nets etc, it does not go unnoticed. Much appreciated. Ian x

Great first game girls, we will get better and better as the season gets going. Some great play and a bit of ball following.

Don't worry next year will be our year.

Thank You to the parents who helped out with nets etc, it does not go unnoticed.

18th September 2010

WAG's V Hough End

Score: 1 - 5

A great performance on last week, we are getting better and better, this is your second game together. I and Stuart can see such a difference in the way you are coming together. Today was the first ever penalty, something which we never have worked on in training and Olivia stood up to the mark, her first penalty and right in the onion bag it went.

Brill stuff !
